New Girls House Completed
In only two years we grew so quickly that one girls house was no longer big enough. In July of 2007 a construction team from the Church of Glad Tidings in California came over to help build a second house for the girls. It was a co-operative effort between our Cambodian staff and the American team. Even the children stopped what they were doing to help with the labor. They moved bricks, sand and cement and they had fun painting pictures on the walls of their new house. The house went up quickly and now the girls are enjoying the extra living space.

More Children Have Come to Study
Ten more children came to live and study at the Children's Center for the 2007-2008 school year. There are now 60 kids living at the Center!
New School
Seven of the students moved up to 7th grade this year which means they get to go to a new school that is a little farther away. Each of them got a new bicycle to help make their longer commute a little easier.
English and Computer Classes
People from the U.S. and Malaysia helped out by donating their old lap tops for the kids to learn on. Now, with the help of a couple of truck batteries and a few solar panels, we’ve started to tutor the kids in basic computer skills. They love it and their always wanting to learn more. Even the adults are excited to learn on them. Along with learning how to use a computer we’ve started English and music classes for them as well.
Children are leading worship for themselves.
Over the past year most of the children have learned to play guitar. Now they are leading worship themselves every night during their worship and prayer time. Some of the older ones even go out and lead worship in their village church as well. It has been exciting to see them grab hold of worship.
