Testimony by: Tem Pon, Kompong Chhang, Central Cambodia
Tem Pon early one morning was sitting and praying when she heard God say, “I will have someone come and meet you.” A little later she was sitting now in front of her house reading the Bible. Then a lady came up to her and said, “What are you doing?”
Tem Pon said, “I am reading my Bible.”
The lady said, “Can I read too.”
So Tem Pon turned to John 3:16 and read it to her, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” The woman asked Tem Pon for her Bible. Tem Pon made her promise that if she gives it to her she must promise to read it. In Tem Pon’s church they only have twenty Bible between everyone, so the Bible is very valuable to them.
So, after she promised Tem Pon she gave her Bible to her. She and her whole family gave her life to Christ. Tem Pon heard a word from the Lord and gave it away.
