On March 3, we were in the middle of a revival service here in Phnom. Randy Clark was ministering by teaching about healing and giving testimonies which he had seen in the past.
You could just feel the faith and excitement building in the room as people understood the scriptures and heard what God had done. After all, Hebrews tells us that Jesus is ‘the same yesterday, today and forever’.
Throughout the meeting Randy would get a word of knowledge from the Lord about a sickness. Usually people would just stand up across the sanctuary as they were healed upon hearing the word. At one point Randy had a word of knowledge from the Lord that God wanted to heal someone from a ankle injury on the left ankle.
I had hurt my ankle two weeks previously and the nagging pain would not go away. When Randy said those words immediately the pain in my ankle left. I stood up to show that I was indeed healed. Across the room others stood as well. One other person who stood was my friend Banan, who is a leader at a church in Phnom Penh.
Banan had pain in his ankle for two years because he injured his ankle in a motorcycle accident. Immediately upon hearing the word all the pain was gone from his ankle. Randy had not even prayed or touched anyone; it was simply the power of God at work.
As soon as Banan was healed, he thought of his wife who was injured in the same motorcycle accident. She had injured her stomach area which she still has constant pain from. Each night she has her husband massages her stomach, side and back because of the pain. She always has discomfort when sleeping too because of the injury.
Mala, Banan’s wife, was not at the meeting because she was at home with their two children. Banan felt in his heart that it was the Holy Spirit who had impressed him that his wife could be healed too. He didn’t want to leave the meeting, so he just stepped out and called his wife by phone. He quickly told her what God had done for his ankle, and he believed God would heal Mala too…and immediately she was healed.
Faith is clearly contageous; with one word from God, many miracles happen. Glory to God!
how exciting, I want to hear of that happening all over the world.
