Travel Tuesday’s: Cheap Seats
A typical Toyota Camry taxi can hold 9 people; 4 in the front (two in each seat: including the driver’s seat), and four to five in the back. Adventurous passengers can rent the “cheap seats” (the rear trunk/boot of the car). This increases the capacity by two to four, thus a Camry (un-modified) can hold 13 people!
I’d call shotgun!!!
The front seat of the taxi is occupied by 4 people including the driver. So 2 people in the passenger seat and one more with the driver. So “shotgun” you have to share too! 🙂
For fun, how much do the cheap seats go for?
Sort of like a convertible with a big shade visor (and no view and the hazard of being rear-ended).
About $2.50 for 200 mile ride… The exhaust fumes are bad!
